Since the beginning of this year, we’ve welcomed many new members to the Wajam family. Here’s a glimpse at the talented individuals who’ve joined our team.

Felix Trépanier: After finishing his Masters in Computer Systems Engineering in New Zealand, Felix honed his coding skills at Oz Communication, Nokia and Synchronica before arriving at Wajam. Little known facts: Felix is a runner, having ran multiple half-marathons, and he’s also visited every continent except Antarctica. That’s his next vacation destination!
Alexandre Bergeron comes to us from l’École de Technologie Supérieure after stints at Ericsson and Arthrovision. Although we prize him for his exceptional backend development skills, Alex has surprised us with his keen interest  in journalism, improv theatre and game development.
Heikki Koivikko is our lead mobile developer. He has been developing applications on mobile for the past eleven years, and will be spearheading our social search efforts on handheld phones. Originally from Finland, he’s now firmly anchored into Quebecois culture and has recently started playing hockey.
Ronny Li joins us straight out of McGill University where he studied finance and marketing. As part of our business intelligence team, he helps us make good decisions based on numbers, numbers and more numbers. When not coming up with better ways to crunch said numbers, Ronny loves to play poker and always wins at paintball.
Laurent Fortin is our resident Javascript ninja-master. He comes from a family of ninjas, and is a big fan of beer, movies, and the Montreal Canadiens hockey team.
Vincent Surette is our Chief Financial Officer. Currently CFO of five startups in Montreal, Vince is an expert on raising money and strategic planning.
Last but not least, we’d like to welcome Miriel Robidoux, our Director of Operations. Previously a Game Producer for Beenox/Activision, Ubisoft and Behaviour as well as a Management Consultant, she brings a wealth of maturity and knowledge to Wajam.

With these new additions, we’re looking forwarding to providing you with an even better social search experience, whenever you need it.

P.S. We’re still hiring— please visit the Wajam career page and spread the word!
